Bunduq Company limited has been successfully producing the oil since 1975, and we proudly mark our 50th anniversary from first production as of November 2025. This success is built on a foundation of trust and collaboration with our concession partners (host Governments’ representatives); Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Qatar Energy. As the shareholder, United Petroleum Development (UPD), together with their parent companies—ENEOS Xplora and Cosmo Energy Exploration & Production—continues to provide financial and human resources maximizing the economic benefit from the hydrocarbon resources of the El Bunduq Field.
We actively seek opportunities to expand and utilize our resources, while also demonstrating progress in other areas of our business; especially in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE). For Occupational Health, we support initiatives that enhance and maintain workplace conditions across both offshore and onshore sites. Through targeted improvement and maintenance programs, we strive to create a healthy, comfortable and well-being focused environment for all employees.
Safety remains central to our operations, reflected in our long-standing record without lost-time injuries and full compliance with ADNOC’s HSE standards. Around 20 years, we maintained zero major safety incidents and strengthened our proactive safety culture through training, screenings, and audits. Environmentally, we advanced our Decarbonization Plan in line with the climate goals of the UAE and Qatar, achieving zero oil spills and reducing flaring.
Operationally, we continue to deliver reliable energy and strong economic contributions to our shareholders and concession partners.
As we move forward, Bunduq remains committed to advancing its decarbonization journey, driving innovation, and embedding technology into our culture and operations. We will continue to sustain a safer and more resilient energy future, guided by the national visions of the UAE and Qatar, and with the dedication of our people and the support of our stakeholders.
